Many of the casino lounge entertainment directors have told the members of Patton Leatha that they are, by far, the best lounge band to play their respective casinos in recent years. This is the reason the band has earned a very well deserved following at each and every one of the many different casinos where they perform on the casino lounge circuit.
Since the Patton Leatha Band is famous on the casino lounge circuit, it was only appropriate that its new record label be named Lounge Renown Records. The band's new album consists of eleven original and three cover songs. Many of the originals are explosive, upbeat, dance songs along with a few very pretty, soft songs. Two of the cover songs are easy listening while the third cover song is the band's very exciting version of the late Sylvester's "You Make Me Feel Mighty Real."Things are heating up daily here at Lounge Renown Records as we nearing the completion of our exhilarating Treasure album. But before we release the album, we are releasing a two song single containing the very beautiful ballad "Treasure" along with the rollicking "I Want Your Number." Andre is a virtuoso on all the accordion types, single row, double row, triple row and piano key. He effortlessly moves across types to deliver an energetic two-step, traditional Creole waltz, hard-driving blues or a blend that is his own sound. Although Andre’s instrument of choice is the accordion he also displays talent on bass guitar, rhythm guitar and drums. Thanks to his parents and grandparents he sings traditional songs in original Creole French and his voice has matured into rich and soulful tones. He is a gifted composer and song-writer and his music and CDs feature many of his original tunes. As quoted from an article published in Eh Toi magazine 2002, "There is no accordion player in Zydeco that uses his left hand as well as Andre Thierry." While playing Washington, D.C. in 2003, the Washington Post called Andre a “master” at “pumping out fast, funky rhythms on an instrument not usually associated with earthy syncopation. A versatile student of the music, Thierry can't be lumped into Zydeco's old-school R&B-influenced camp or its nouveau, rap-inspired one: He and his band, Zydeco Magic, lay down both soulful, traditional slow-dances and bottom-end-booming kinetic groovers.”The San Francisco Bay Area, which is home to some of the best blues musicians in the world, showed its appreciation by presenting Andre Thierry and Zydeco Magic with the West Coast Blues Hall of Fame award for “Best Zydeco Group” in 2008. Andre continually raises the bar for Zydeco musicians worldwide. At only 33 years old, he is already a legend. There is widespread agreement that he is an exceptional multi-dimensional musician who has a finely-honed ability to merge traditional Zydeco music with hip-hop, blues, jazz and rock. Building from his love and respect for traditional Zydeco, his original music is a blend of old and new.
His musical mastery enables him to create a unique sound for his and future generations while staying true to the past.Andre Thierry & Zydeco Magic will capture your attention and serve up an unparalleled musical experience that captivates your soul. If you like to dance, Andre will have you moving your feet all night long. As the late great Clifton Chenier once said about Zydeco, “if you dance, your aches and pains will disappear.” Andre’s love of all things musical and his passion for playing for his audiences delight dancers and music lovers everywhere.

Dance/R&B/Pop artist "born to sing, write and perform" was born Patricia Kathleen Ahearn in Joliet, Illinois, on June 8, 1987, and remembers touching a piano for the first time at a very young age. It felt as if her own beautiful world was coming alive, and she knew her special role in it was to create beautiful music and entertain worldwide audiences, starting with her family. While watching an internationally-acclaimed composer/pianist, she realized that it only takes one imagination to create a fully-orchestrated sound that fills arenas full of thousands of hearts and ears. She was hooked on that idea for life, and like that performer, she wanted to do it all--especially compose. She immediately began writing and performing songs and dances for friends and relatives at family get-togethers, and taught herself songs by ear on a small keyboard borrowed from her older brother.
Although her first love was the violin, Tricia immediately fell in love with the independence the piano offered for composing complete solo works. It also allowed her to accompany and develop her voice. She soon began performing at piano recitals and singing and playing in talent shows and local competitions. In school she found ways to occupy herself, and every hour was spent doing something creative. She started classical ballet training at age 4, had her own poetry published at age 9, performed in the musical productions at her school, sang in the choir, trained with a professional opera coach, went to dance camps in the summer, taught piano lessons, and took drum lessons.
Inspired by her older brother who was a drummer for a few local acts, she played in local groups and started frequenting the coffeehouse where all the local groups played as the headlining solo act. Tricia traveled to New York as the President of her high school choir to perform Italian Opera at Carnegie Hall in 2005. After high school, she left her hometown in pursuit of her dreams, and relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2007. With the help of roommates and friends she recorded her first demo, and in the summer of 2010 she joined the choir at Glide Memorial Methodist Church in San Francisco. Nearing completion of her first record, Tricia is excited to share her unique style and soulful message. She aspires to record not only in English, but Italian and Spanish as well and intends to share her music with a worldwide audience.
It was in the basement artist dressing room of B.B. Kings Blues Lounge in New York City that the sap of this project began seeping out into the universe. Founding members Timm Walker and Ian Lamson, after yet another memorable performance as members of the Elvin Bishop Band, were both mesmerized by the energy and anticipation by a now completely different audience to see the upcoming act, Ivan Neville.
And when the music began, they both were transformed by the spirit and energy of the funk they heard. "It was rejuvenating and captivating. At the same time it was a little saddening because I was hearing the music of my roots but had no present project that allowed me to really funk!”, says bass player Timm Walker. "It was fun running into my buddy Skerik (who was playing sax for Ivan) and hangin’ out with Dumpstaphunk. It just felt like coming home. I knew it would have a profound effect on my thinking." It would seem it is not at all surprising that both Lamson and Walker subsequently left the Elvin Bishop Band and formed their own project. The likely choice of drummers, William Allums, of Louisiana rooting, and having played with Walker for more than fifteen years with Zydeco Flames, eagerly joined the group and the team soon began on the journey toward greater funk. With the additions of fabulous lead vocalist Keith Brown, sax extremist Jim Peterson, and the much sought after Lorenzo Hawkins on keys, this group has become a force in bringing the spirit of New Orleans to the Bay Area.
Beau funk is a concept to do with the marriage of Oakland and New Orleans funk styles. Of course, one could not responsibly mention the funk of Oakland without the naming of Oakland's funk majors, Tower of Power.
This style of precise musical punctuation and greasy syncopated rhythms, combined with the infectious tribal vibe of New Orleans funk and second line, is a potent dance combination and makes for a festive party atmosphere. In addition, one could not mention the funk of New Orleans without naming The Meters.

HindSite is a variety band specializing in Top-40 R&B dance music. With a music list more current than any cover band we've seen out there, our rock solid rhythm section and amazing vocalists wow the audience every time we perform.
"I've seen them in concert and you guys sound better!"
or
"You sounded so good, I thought it was a D.J.!"
These are probably to two compliments we hear the most at our shows. While not sure how we feel about being compared to a D.J. spinning cd's, we recognize the difference between our band and most other cover bands. In 1998, when HindSite was started, we were simply some musicians getting together to play for "kicks". We wanted to play music that was different than the same boring stuff we hear at all the live venues, and we wanted it to sound better than anyone else playing it. You won't find us playing endless solos to stretch out our songs. HindSite packs a ton of material into the night , and we have a large enough songlist to keep just about any crowd dancing right up until the lights go out.
In addition to the many dance club venues we play, HindSite has performed at several corporate and small business functions.
